We rescue death row dogs from shelters that are scheduled for euthanasia, long term shelter stays over 100 days, and extreme abuse situations. 

We were inspired by the legendary kindness of Saint Nicholas,  known for his generosity and compassion. Just as Saint Nicholas is celebrated for his caring spirit and dedication to helping those in need, we are committed to rescuing and rehoming dogs who deserve a second chance at happiness. 

While the name brings to mind the warmth and festivity of Christmas, our commitment to rescuing dogs extends throughout the year. Every day, we work to spread the same kindness and generosity that Saint Nicholas embodies, ensuring that the spirit of Santa Paws is felt by every dog we rescue, every family we unite, and every life we touch. Santa Paws is a year-round beacon of hope, providing a consistent reminder of the importance of compassion and community.
